Maureen Joy Charter School will be closed to students on Monday, September 21, 2026, as our faculty and staff participate in a scheduled Staff Development Day.

This professional learning day provides our teachers and staff with dedicated time to collaborate, strengthen instructional practices, review student needs, and participate in professional development designed to support continued growth throughout our school.

These opportunities allow our educators to strengthen their skills, share best practices, and prepare high-quality learning experiences for our students.

Important Reminder

Students should not report to school on Monday, September 21. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 22.

While our students enjoy the day away from campus, our staff will be hard at work learning, planning, collaborating, and preparing to continue providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

We appreciate the continued support and partnership of our Joy families as we invest in the professional growth of our educators.
