Mental Health & Crisis Support

Help Is Available. You Are Not Alone.

You Don’t Have to Handle It Alone

Everyone has moments when things feel overwhelming. If you are feeling sad, anxious, hopeless, unsafe, or are thinking about hurting yourself, help is available.

You can also reach out if you are worried about a friend or someone you care about. Tell a trusted adult right away.

Talk to a Trusted Adult

At school or at home, there are people who want to help. You can talk to a:
  • Parent, guardian, or caregiver
  • Teacher
  • School counselor & social worker
  • School nurse
  • School administrators
  • Coach or other trusted adult

You do not need to have the right words. Simply telling someone, “I need help” is enough to start the conversation.

Need Help Now?

📞 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

Is Someone in Immediate Danger?

If you or another person is experiencing a life-threatening emergency or is in immediate danger:

CALL 911

Do not wait or try to handle an emergency by yourself. Get help from an adult or emergency professional immediately.

Worried About a Friend?

You don't have to solve the problem yourself.

If a friend tells you they are thinking about hurting themselves, seems unsafe, or says something that makes you concerned:

Listen. Take them seriously. Tell a trusted adult. Get help.

Even if your friend asks you to keep it a secret, getting an adult involved can help keep them safe.
